Seattle Rose Society

Please join us for our
next membership meeting on
Tuesday, April 15, 2008, 7:30 pm
at the Center for Urban Horticulture
3501 N.E. 41st Street, Seattle

Our speaker, Connie Wurm, will share with us her knowledge of birds and birdhouses. Connie grew up on a dairy farm in Ohio and was blessed with two grandmothers who adored gardening, flowers, and birds. On Saturdays you will find her at the West Seattle Nursery where she has worked for 9 years and where she sells her native species birdhouses. A lifetime love of insects, birds, bees, and plants has been rewarding and Connie is delighted to share this love of nature with like-minded spirits! Let's save our native birds together by planting landscapes pleasing to us as well.!

Do you want to grow beautiful roses? Do you grow roses, but are frustrated with the results? Whether you grow one rose or hundreds, or are thinking about starting a rose garden, large or small, you've come to the right place. Here you will find information on rose care, roses that grow well in the Pacific Northwest, resources for buying and growing roses, how to exhibit roses, lots of beautiful pictures, and much more.
